MCI is a fast-growing tech-enabled services company. The Corporate Accountant will oversee accounting operations, generate accurate financial reports, maintain records, and implement robust controls to ensure GAAP compliance across the business units.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of accrual accounting experience, solid understanding of financial processes, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• 1–2 years of accrual basis accounting experience including AR, journal entries, month-end close and reconciliation.
• Regular attendance and reliable performance are essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication across levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Performs Accounts Receivable functions including invoicing, aging reports, and reconciliation.
• Enters routine journal entries and bank transactions.
• Enters AP bills and credit card transactions if needed.
• Performs month-end closing and reconciliation.
• Reconciles, investigates, corrects, and adjusts accounting information.
• Performs bank reconciliation.
• Supports department peers as needed.
