Job summary

MCI is looking for a proactive Accountant in Louisiana to oversee accounting operations, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with GAAP. You'll manage accounts receivable, process journal entries, and handle month-end closings.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of accrual-basis accounting experience including accounts receivable, journal entries, month-end closing, reconciliation, and bank reconciliation.
• Proven project planning, organization, and management skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to interact at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing and reconciling customer accounts.
• Record routine journal entries and bank transactions accurately and timely.
• Execute month-end closing activities and perform account reconciliations.
