Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
8+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience.
Experience leading month-end close and financial reporting functions.
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
Experience with project accounting, job costing, or contract-based environments.
Advanced Excel and ERP system experience.

Responsibilities

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
Reduce month-end close timelines while improving accuracy.
Prepare and review financial statements and supporting workpapers.
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP.
Oversee account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and general ledger activity.
Coordinate annual audits and serve as primary liaison with external auditors.
Develop scalable accounting processes and automate workflows.
