Equity Bank is seeking a Commercial Banker to join our Commercial Lending team in Kirksville, MO. This on-site role focuses on managing and expanding a portfolio of commercial client relationships while delivering tailored banking products and exceptional service.

You will analyze credit risk, strive to meet growth targets, and collaborate with colleagues to optimize profitability and ensure regulatory compliance, all within a community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, finance, accounting, or business administration is required.
• 1-3 years of banking experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional manner.
• Previous commercial lending experience is preferred.
• Computer skills, especially Windows-based systems.
• Maintain working understanding of banking regulations and bank policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service commercial customer relationships.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of all commercial products to facilitate cross-selling.
• Meet or exceed loan, fee income and deposit growth goals.
• Demonstrate strong credit skills and analyze risk in underwriting.
• Exhibit time management, organization and planning in daily work.
• Build rapport with customers and work with colleagues professionally.
