Job summary

Quality Talent Group partners with a global technology company in the building automation and industrial tech space, seeking an entry-level engineer to drive plant production improvements and automation initiatives in our New York area facility. You will develop process control automation, work with CTI PLCs and Ifix HMI, and prepare reports on operating efficiency and feasibility studies. Ideal for a self-starter with 0–3 years experience and a relevant engineering degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field (Chemical or Electrical preferred).
• 0–3 years of work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Self-starter and highly motivated team player.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for operational improvements of all aspects of the plant production.
• Develop process control automation and computer applications for process control.
• Prepare computer reports on process operating efficiencies and failure investigation tests.
• Programming including CTI PLCs and Ifix HMI.
• Conduct economic and operation feasibility studies on proposed electrical modifications.
