Job summary

Heffernan Insurance Brokers is seeking an Assistant Account Manager in its Personal Lines team in Tracy, CA. This role supports Account Managers and Producers with clerical account servicing tasks and carrier communications to process endorsements and retrieve policy information.

Under supervision, you will handle renewal workflow, binders, endorsements, invoicing, claims follow-up, and certificates of insurance, while maintaining E&O procedures and documentation for commercial accounts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience working in an office environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills required.
• Must be organized and able to manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Renewal Processing Workflow: order loss runs, update applications, update SOVs, spreadsheets, and order MVRs.
• Process binders, endorsements, and audits after review by Account Manager.
• Invoicing as assigned; follow up on claims; coordinate Certificates of Insurance and Evidence of Insurance.
• Create and maintain mail-merge documents; draft proposals.
• Respond to client requests in a timely and accurate manner; follow up and close open activities in EPIC.
