Job summary

Heffernan Insurance Brokers is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to join its Personal Lines team in Tracy, CA. The role supports Account Managers and Producers in clerical functions related to servicing insurance accounts, with growth opportunities.

Under direction from an Account Manager, you will process endorsements, retrieve coverage details, coordinate Certificates of Insurance, prepare proposals, renewals, and invoicing, and maintain accurate records with strong attention to E&O

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; office experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
• Must be organized and able to manage time effectively.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Renewal processing workflow as assigned by Account Manager.
• Process binders.
• Process endorsements.
• Process audits after review by the Account Manager.
• Invoicing as assigned.
• Follow up on claims.
• Coordinate Certificates of Insurance and renewals.
• Create and maintain mail-merge documents.
• Draft proposals.
• Respond to client requests in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow up and close open activities in EPIC.
• Pursue and obtain P&C license and other CE opportunities.
• Maintain proper E&O documentation.
• Assist with other duties usual to servicing accounts.
• Handle other special projects as assigned.
