Search Services is representing a private equity backed manufacturing and distribution client on an Accounting Analyst role in the southwest side of Houston, TX. The position offers growth, close collaboration with the CFO, and broad responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree required.
• Zero to two years of accounting experience preferred.
• CPA aspirant is preferred.
• Strong aptitude for technology preferred.
• Desire to experiment with AI to improve business processes is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly financial close process and monthly reporting package.
• Prepare and maintain supporting schedules for monthly adjusting entries.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations.
• Handle day-to-day general accounting tasks, including journal entries and month-end adjustments.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Assist with inventory/cost accounting, fixed assets and other GL activities.
