Lee Hecht Harrison Nederland B.V. is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join its finance and accounting team in a high-growth, project-based environment.

The role supports AP, AR, and broader accounting operations while driving process improvements and scaling efficiencies. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in accounting, strong full-cycle AP/AR knowledge, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting/AP/AR or accounting operations experience.
• Strong understanding of full-cycle AP and AR processes.
• Experience performing reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage vendor invoices.
• Coordinate invoice approvals and payment schedules.
• Maintain vendor records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with 1099 preparation and reporting.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Generate customer invoices and billing statements.
• Apply cash receipts and monitor collections activity.
• Reconcile customer accounts.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Perform account reconciliations.
• Support month-end close activities.
• Maintain accounting records and documentation.
• Assist with reporting and audit support activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies.
• Support a growing transaction volume across multiple projects and business activities.
