Job summary

West Coast Dental is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join multiple offices in Southern California. This full-time role offers flexible scheduling, hands-on training, and opportunities to grow into leadership positions within a patient-focused team.

You will assist dentists in general and specialty procedures, manage patient records, and ensure safety and infection control while expanding your clinical skills across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required.
• Current X-ray certification (CA) required.
• Coronal polish and sealant certification beneficial.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of sterilization procedures and OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments per OSHA standards.
• Assist dentists during general and specialty procedures.
• Take, develop, and process dental X-rays.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed.
• Manage operatory flow in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with front and back-office teams to deliver patient care.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience from start to finish.
• Learn new skills and assist across multiple specialties.
• Participate in mentoring to grow clinical expertise.
