Job summary

Acme Tools is seeking a General Manager for our Grand Forks, ND location. This role combines hands-on leadership with strategic oversight to grow profitability and customer satisfaction.

You will oversee sales, service, and rental operations, manage inventory and pricing, and develop the local team. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of management experience with full P&L oversight, a business degree or equivalent, and strong leadership and analytical skills to drive performance in a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of management with full P&L oversight.
• Strong leadership to coach, train, motivate and develop employees.
• Understanding of accounting principles and ability to read financial reports.
• Knowledge of equipment dealership operations (sales, rental, parts, service).
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work extended hours and travel, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Establishes, controls, and supervises all site activities to meet goals and profitability.
• Oversee equipment sales, inventory purchasing, pricing, and service operations.
• Directly supervises and develops internal leadership for sales, service, and rental operations.
• Assist in budget and sales forecast preparation for the location.
• Communicates with management on customer complaints and delinquent accounts.
