Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in purchasing and inventory control.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage new and existing merchandise programs for various categories and vendors.
• Negotiate, analyze industry trends, plan and purchase goods for resale across locations and website.
• Analyze past buying trends, sales data, prices, and quality to optimize sales and profitability.
• Handle purchasing of product lines and administer inventory control to maintain stock levels.
• Select and order merchandise per contracts; authorize payments as needed.
