SMD Management in the Greater Baltimore Area seeks a Director of Property Management to partner with the Founder/Owner, driving growth from 400 to 750 doors by 2027. You will oversee maintenance, client management, property management, and leasing, creating a unified, high-performing organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor 7 direct reports with accountability, organization, and problem-solving.
• Translate the Owner’s strategic vision into actionable plans with timelines and goals.
• Build scalable operational systems to support rapid growth without compromising service.
• Oversee property performance metrics and drive decisions with data.
• Streamline cross-department workflows to remove bottlenecks and improve throughput.
• Serve as escalation point for complex client or operational issues with decisive resolution.
• Partner with the Owner on annual goals, budgeting, and KPI tracking.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal property regulations and best practices.
