Job summary

Marshalls, part of The TJX Companies, Inc., is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who will empower a diverse team to deliver memorable customer experiences. You’ll lead with integrity in a fast-paced, inclusive environment and help drive store performance through people, processes, and programs.

In this role you’ll recruit and develop Associates, oversee merchandising, service, and operations, and implement action plans to meet sales and expense targets while maintaining safety and loss

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of retail leadership as Assistant or Store Manager.
• Ability to lead and empower a large team.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to mentor others.
• Proficiency in store operations, customer service, merchandising, people management, health and safety, and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by supporting sales, managing expenses, and overseeing merchandising, backroom, frontline, cash office, customer service, markdowns, scheduling, shipping and receiving.
• Recruit, train, and develop Associates; mentor and role model to foster a positive environment.
• Communicate and implement action plans for projects, targets, company initiatives, and store changes; provide input on succession planning.
• Implement strategies to meet sales, expense, and customer service targets; coordinate loss prevention and store layout/improvement.
