Job summary

Sally Beauty is seeking an Assistant Manager in Avondale, AZ to support the Store Manager in hiring, developing and leading store associates while delivering an exceptional client experience. You will help oversee all store operations and ensure brand standards, merchandising and omni-channel fulfillment.

This role emphasizes coaching, scheduling, and payroll oversight, as well as analyzing store trends to drive KPIs and financial targets.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred.
Ability to lead or support a team of associates to meet business objectives.
Can effectively communicate with team and management.
Must have scheduling availability to meet the needs of the business.
Cosmetology license desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

30% Brand: supervision of associates’ daily goals to deliver an exceptional client experience while maximizing sales and KPIs.
30% People: recruits, trains, coaches and develops team; maintains positive associate relations.
30% Operations: ensures execution of company processes and Omni-channel fulfillment.
Store management duties include inventory, payroll hours, scheduling, and ensuring opening/closing procedures are followed.
10% Safety/Loss Prevention: protect assets; ensure inventory and cash controls; follow safety procedures.
