Job summary

RAM Recruiting is seeking a Director of Admissions and Marketing for a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Dayton, OH. This hands-on role focuses on building hospital and community referral relationships and growing census in a SNF setting.

You will own the admissions funnel from first referral call to move-in day, collaborating with the Administrator and clinical team to ensure smooth admissions and ongoing census growth. Prior SNF/LTC experience is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in SNF/LTC admissions and census development.
• Strong relationship-building with hospitals and physicians.
• Marketing and census growth focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full admissions process — referrals, insurance verification, tours, and move-ins.
• Build and maintain relationships with hospital discharge planners, physicians, and community referral sources.
• Market the facility's programs, including short-term rehab and the ventilator/respiratory unit, to grow census.
• Track census, referral, and conversion numbers and report on admissions performance.
• Work closely with the Administrator and clinical team to make sure every admission is a smooth one.
