Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements, journal entries, and supporting month-end close, with strong emphasis on GAAP, GL control, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP principles.
• Experience with general ledger accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements.
• Prepare monthly journal entries.
• Assist with month-end close process.
• Reconcile general ledger and sub-ledger accounts.
• Research discrepancies and post adjusting entries.
• Assist departments with operating and capital expenditure budgets.
• Analyze actual vs. budget variances.
• Maintain checkbook and cash controls.
• Meet regularly with department managers to provide financial insight and reporting support.
• Assist with income tax return preparation.
