Job summary

The Director of Donation Expansion and Partnerships at Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay leads organization-wide initiatives to grow donations, expand community presence, and strengthen partnerships in support of GSFB's mission.

The role oversees donor loyalty, strategic site placement, and collaboration with local authorities, schools, and businesses, requiring 7+ years in related fields and a proven track record. This is a full-time role with Bay Area travel expectations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in project management, event planning, or marketing.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Detail-oriented with initiative and problem-solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes a comprehensive donation acquisition strategy.
• Identifies opportunities and market dynamics for growth.
• Analyzes donation data and geographic trends to inform decisions.
• Manages attended donation centers across the territory.
• Oversees budget management and cost controls.
• Coordinates bin/trailer placements with partners.
• Builds relationships with local charities and businesses.
• Leads partnerships and product acquisition efforts.
