Kids for the Future is seeking a Growing Team Coordinator to join the Community Based Services Division in Montgomery County. The role involves leading farm operations, supervising volunteers daily, and coordinating learning sessions related to sustainable agriculture.

Qualifications

Driver's license and own transportation required.
Interest in horticulture and agricultural knowledge highly desired.
Experience on a farm or garden environment is preferred.
Willing to learn quickly and work independently in a field setting.

Responsibilities

Oversee growing operations including crop planning, planting, tending, harvesting, and greenhouse work.
Lead and supervise daily volunteers and partner groups; coordinate tours and work sessions.
Plan workshops and educational experiences focused on sustainable agriculture and local food systems.
Ensure safety, cleanliness, and maintenance of farm facilities and equipment.
Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with clients, volunteers and community partners.
