Job summary

Mount Washington Alpine Resort is seeking a detail-focused Groups Sales Lead to join our team. You’ll report to the Groups Manager and help run group bookings—from educational visits to corporate events—while delivering memorable mountain experiences for guests.

This seasonal, on-site role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, brings order to moving pieces, and approaches tasks with care and accuracy. Availability on select weekends from January to March is required.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities with task prioritization.
  • Keen eye for detail and accuracy in booking data.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel; Axess experience is an asset.
  • Calm, focused, solutions-oriented in a busy environment.
  • Proactive problem-solver with good decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to the team.
  • Previous sales experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Groups Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Build relationships with clients via email, phone, and in person.
  • Coordinate with Alpine and Nordic teams to ensure smooth group experiences.
  • Keep the Group Tracker accurate and up-to-date for planning.
  • Monitor inquiries and changes; follow up within 72 hours.
  • Coordinate food and beverage requirements with the F&B team.
  • Work with Rentals Manager to communicate group details and changes.
  • Provide hands-on sales and guest support during group visits.

Availability to work select weekends from January through March is required to support our busiest season.Role Responsibilities:Support the Groups Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks, keeping communication open and the team connected.Build positive relationships with clients throughout every stage of their booking—by email, phone and in person during their visit.Stay closely connected with our Alpine and Nordic teams, including Snow School Dispatch, to help each group experience run smoothly.Keep the Group Tracker accurate and up to date, giving departments the information they need to plan for upcoming business volumes.Monitor booking inquiries and changes, providing friendly and helpful follow-up within 72 hours.Coordinate food and beverage requirements with the F&B team.Work with the Rentals Manager to communicate group preset details and any activity changes.Provide hands-on sales and guest support during group visits, helping create a seamless experience from arrival to departure.Qualifications:Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet deadlines.A thoughtful eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.Confidence using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel; experience with Axess is an asset.The ability to stay calm, focused and solutions-oriented in a busy, high-volume environment.A proactive approach to problem-solving and the confidence to make thoughtful decisions.The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative team.Previous sales experience is an asset.Resort Conditions:Working at a Winter Resort means no two days are the same—and that's part of the adventure! You’ll get to experience a variety of unique locations, from cozy lodges to scenic mountain-top venues only accessible by chairlift. Be prepared to embrace the elements; whether it's bluebird skies, fresh snowfall, or the infamous coastal rain. Expect to navigate multi-level lodges, steep stairways, and outdoor areas where the terrain can be sloped, snowy, or slippery, so good footwear is essential, indoors and out.
