Job summary

Team Recovery LLC in Ohio is seeking a Group Therapist to guide individuals through recovery from substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. You will lead group sessions, provide support, and deliver education on coping strategies and relapse prevention.

The role requires collaboration with counselors, social workers, and psychiatrists, maintaining confidential records, and staying current with best practices.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in health & human services field.
• Lived experience and/or 2+ years experience in Behavioral Health and SUD treatment preferred.
• Ohio-licensed credentials such as LSW/LPC/LPCC/LCDC II or QMHS certification.
• BLS/CPR certification may be required or trained upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate group therapy sessions for individuals in recovery.
• Create a safe and supportive environment for group members to share experiences.
• Educate about addiction, recovery principles, coping strategies, and relapse prevention.
• Collaborate with counselors, social workers, and psychiatrists to ensure comprehensive care.
