Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of rehab centers seeking licensed clinicians to deliver group therapy and psychoeducation. You will support clients with coping skills and recovery tools while collaborating with a seasoned clinical team to monitor progress.

The role requires a Bachelor's in psychology or related field, state licensure, and substance abuse experience, with a Master’s preferred. Excellent communication and strict confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Valid state licensure/certification to practice (e.g., ADT).
• Substance abuse experience required.
• Excellent observational, collaborative and interpersonal skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Compassionate and confidential professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups.
• Assist clients in developing coping skills and recovery tools.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to monitor client progress.
• Escalate concerns to Clinical Director as needed.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all sessions.
• Ensure all clinical assessments and charting are completed.
