Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center at Eastern Shore is seeking a qualified clinician to join our 100-bed residential program, delivering group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups to support clients in recovery.

You will collaborate with clinical staff, maintain thorough documentation, ensure confidentiality, and escalate concerns as needed. A Bachelor's in psychology or related field and valid licensure are required; Master's preferred; substance abuse experience essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling or related field required; Master's preferred.
• Substance abuse experience required.
• Valid state licensure/certification to practice in this role (ADT).
• Excellent observational and interpersonal skills; ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups.
• Assist clients in developing coping skills and recovery tools.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to monitor client progress.
• Escalate significant client concerns to Clinical Director.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all group sessions.
• Ensure all clinical assessments and charting are completed.
