Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a Group Therapist for our Detox and Residential facility in Aurora, CO. You will conduct group therapy, provide psychoeducation, and help clients develop healthy coping skills and recovery tools.

Collaborate with clinical staff, document sessions, and ensure assessments and charting are completed. A bachelor’s in psychology is preferred, and Colorado licensure is required; weekend shifts may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, or related field preferred.
• Min. one year experience in treatment industry preferred.
• Valid licensure to practice as a clinician in this state (CAS) required.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills.
• Strong presence and sound judgement.
• Warm, dignified and honest character that inspires trust and models recovery principles.

Now Hiring Group Therapists for our Detox and Residential treatment facility in Aurora, CO.

Shifts: Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday
