Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Fulfillment Center Supervisor to oversee a team and provide daily support to ensure first-in-class service for Walgreens patients and customers. You will monitor day-to-day work, coach staff, and drive improvements in processes while upholding policy compliance.

You will coach, develop, and conduct performance reviews, balancing operational needs with quality standards and regulatory requirements across the fulfillment center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or GED with 4+ years in fulfillment/logistics.
• Experience identifying operational issues and resolving them.
• Experience delivering customer service to internal/external customers.

Job description

Responsible for supervision of team members within the fulfillment center environment. Provides daily support to pharmacy fulfillment center team members to ensure they provide a first in class experience to Walgreens patients and customers. Monitors and reviews the day-to-day work of team members.

Job Responsibilities

• Resolves and/or provides technical advice on complex or critical issues
• Determines and initiates appropriate resolution for escalations. Reports issues/concern, when appropriate.
• Supervises daily activities of all team members for scheduled shift and provides feedback and coaching of team members according to quality standards.
• Responsible for coaching and developing team members and leads.
• Conducts performance reviews with team members, identifies opportunities for development, and recommends sustainable solutions to achieve necessary results.
• Continues to look for ways to improve current processes with enhancements and ideas. Makes recommendations on process improvements.
• Maintains working relationships and cooperates actively with all levels and areas of management to ensure that the objectives of the department and company are met.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as company and facility policies and procedures. Maintains standards of performance in accordance with policies and procedures (e.g., HIPAA guidelines/regulations, insurance, and fraud abuse guidelines, required productivity levels, timeliness expectations, etc.).

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR High school diploma/GED and at least 4 years of experience working in a fulfillment, logistics or centralized service setting.
• Ability to be licensed as a Pharmacy Technician by the state Board of Pharmacy or nationally recognized certification agency within the state mandated timeline and PTCB Certified within twelve months of placement in position.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships within a team, coaching, mentoring, and training staff.
• Experience with MS Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience applying knowledge of Workforce Management Systems (WMS)
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience working in a pharmacy fulfillment setting.

This role will remain open until filled.
