Job summary

The Learning Lamp & Ignite Education Solutions is seeking a Group Supervisor for our Greater Johnstown Career & Technology Center child care program. Open 6 AM–6 PM; full-time positions require 40 hours per week with some flexibility for shifts.

Responsibilities include supervising children, ensuring safety, assisting with daily care, and communicating with families. We offer competitive benefits, childcare discounts, PTO, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in early childhood education or related human service field.
• CPR certification and current clearances required.
• Physical exam and TB test within stated timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring child safety.
• Assist with feeding, diapering, toileting, and age-appropriate activities.
• Support staff with learning activities and daily schedules.
• Maintain open communication with parents and colleagues.
• Promote positive behavior through guidance and reinforcement.
• Ensure health and hygiene standards are followed.

30 credit hours in early childhood education or related field and 1 year experience

Associate’s degree in early childhood education or related field and 2 years experience

CPR Certification

Physical within 1 year; TB test within 3 months
