Job summary

Prestige Staffing in Uptown seeks an experienced Group Supervisor of Software Engineering to lead a 4-6 person team, including QA, delivering contractor verification products. The role blends hands-on coding with leadership in a remote-friendly environment and a clear path to higher supervisory roles.

You will guide sprints, mentor engineers, ensure ISO 9001/27001 compliance, and drive architecture discussions while collaborating with stakeholders on design and AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; 8+ years web development with .NET Core, C#, ASP.Net, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• 3+ years with Microsoft Azure services and cloud architecture.
• Experience with T-SQL, complex queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Proven leadership: coaching, mentoring, performance reviews.
• Independent, results-oriented with strong communication and organization.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of 4-6 engineers, including QA resources, ensuring high software quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to plan, design, develop, and maintain web-based business applications.
• Coordinate sprints, facilitate scrum processes, and remove roadblocks for timely delivery.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in web development with a focus on .NET Core (C#), ASP.Net, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Minimum 3+ years working with Microsoft Azure services and modern architecture supporting cloud applications
• Experience with database development using T-SQL, complex queries, stored procedures, and functions
• Proven leadership skills in guiding engineering teams, including coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a results-oriented approach
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed
