Tri-City Mental HealthAuthority is a public agency serving the diverse communities of Pomona, Claremont, and La Verne.
Established in 1960, Tri-City Mental HealthAuthority (TCMHA) was conceptualized as a comprehensive mental health service provider, dedicated to helping families and individuals of all ages reach their full potential. Through close and dedicated collaboration with the community it serves, TCMHA has successfully created an integrated system of care that ensures access and enhances mental and emotional health. Available services include but are not limited to psychotherapy, clinical case management, medication support, peer-to-peer support, psychoeducation, linkage and referral, vocational training and support, socialization activities, and community outreach.
Tri-City Mental Health Authority is seeking three organized and collaborative Group Services Coordinators to support group programming for adults receiving behavioral health services. Two positions will support Adult Outpatient Services (AOP), and the other will support FSP Intensive Case Management (ICM).
Under general and clinical supervision, the Group Services Coordinator plans, schedules, coordinates, and supports therapeutic and psychoeducational groups that promote recovery, wellness, and community connection. Responsibilities include developing group curricula, coordinating referrals, supporting group facilitators, monitoring participation, and reviewing documentation for completeness and compliance.
These positions offer an opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams to develop meaningful, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed group services that reflect the needs of the individuals served.
Adult Outpatient Services provides outpatient behavioral health treatment and support to adults, including clinical, rehabilitation, medication support, peer, and group services. The Group Services Coordinator will support group programming that complements individualized treatment plans and promotes engagement, skill development, and recovery.
Intensive Case Management serves adults living with serious mental health conditions. The program provides individualized care coordination to improve access to treatment, strengthen community stability, and connect individuals with housing, healthcare, benefits, and other needed resources. The Group Services Coordinator will coordinate group programming that supports these goals and encourages continued participation in services.
The work setting for each assignment may include field-based, hybrid, and/or office-based services. Final work arrangements are pending.
The ideal candidate brings experience facilitating behavioral health groups and working with individuals living with serious mental illness. They are organized, communicate clearly, and work effectively with clinical and administrative teams.
Successful candidates will understand trauma-informed and recovery-oriented care, culturally responsive engagement, the distinctions between rehabilitation and therapy groups, and Medi-Cal documentation expectations. They will also be comfortable coordinating multiple schedules, supporting facilitators, and adapting programming to changing client needs.
