About National Center for Employee Development Hotel & Conference Center:

Our 940 guest rooms and suites offer a modern, amenity-rich retreat, complemented by a world-class conference center with over 75,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space.

The Sales Manager will achieve quarterly and annual sales targets by securing new client appointments and building a strong sales pipeline through ongoing prospecting. Responsibilities include gathering client intelligence, developing tailored programs to meet client needs, negotiating pricing and product options, and coordinating demos.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a territory-specific growth plan to meet or exceed sales revenue targets.
  2. Achieve prospecting activity expectations set by Sales Management.
  3. Secure prospective client appointments through targeted telemarketing, drop-offs, cold calling, and other strategies.
  4. Maintain and update sales software database regularly as advised.
  5. Prepare for client meetings by researching clients, customizing sales materials, and utilizing available resources.
  6. Meet with prospective clients to secure business.
  7. Follow up with clients to complete the sales process.
  8. Coordinate with clients to meet timelines and deliverables for installations.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; minimum of 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience focused on new accounts, preferably in service sales.
  • Proven success in developing new business and generating leads within an assigned territory.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with a consultative approach.
  • Ability to influence decision-makers at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
