Job summary

Dodge Ridge Ski Resort in Pinecrest, CA is seeking a Group Sales Associate who will support the Group Sales Coordinator and also assist guests at the ticket windows and inside sales. You will help with group check-in, tickets, waivers, and materials while working frontline with Guest Services Associates.

The ideal candidate is guest-focused, detail-oriented, and flexible, able to balance group coordination tasks with retail and hospitality duties, including POS transactions and upselling resort

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY

The Group Sales Associate plays a dual role at Dodge Ridge, providing key support to the Group Sales Coordinator while also working on the front line alongside the Guest Services Associates. This position assists with the preparation, organization, and check-in process for all group visits, and serves as the primary backup for the Group Sales Coordinator on scheduled days off.

In addition to group sales responsibilities, this role works at our guest service points, helping individual guests with lift tickets, rentals, lesson sales, and general resort information. The ideal candidate is highly adaptable, guest-focused, and detail-oriented- able to shift seamlessly between group coordination tasks and front-line customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Group Sales Coordinator with planning, documentation, and communication for all group visits.

Front-Line Guest Services

• Work alongside Guest Services Associates at ticket windows and inside sales areas.

• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle transactions with accuracy.
• Provide resort information, product recommendations, and assistance to walk-up guests.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Previous guest service, retail, or hospitality experience.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with Dodge Ridge products and operations.
• Experience coordinating groups or events.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Cash handling or high-volume transaction experience.
