Job summary

Equinox in Carlsbad is seeking an energetic Group Reformer Pilates Coordinator for part-time hours. You will collaborate with club departments, supervise instructors, and deliver the Equinox Experience in every class while maintaining schedule and studio standards.

The role requires a comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training with 400+ hours, group teaching experience, and a friendly, outgoing personality. Compensation includes hourly pay and class-based bonuses, plus access to staff benefits and

Qualifications

• Completion from a Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training program including all apparatus.
• Minimum 400 hours of Pilates education through a certification program.
• Applicants must provide copies of their Pilates certification(s).
• Experience teaching group classes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure members have a well-rounded experience.
• Provide excellent customer service to members and guests.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.
• Maintain studio and equipment cleanliness.
• Supervise Group Pilates staff and operations to ensure high-quality programming and service.
• Ensure classes are full with high member participation.
• Recruit, hire, train, motivate, direct, coach and evaluate instructors and classes.
• Ensure group studios are well maintained.
• Maintain monthly payroll and supply expenses at or below budget.
• Deliver the Equinox Experience to our members in each class.
• Modify the intensity for participants when necessary.
• Continuously monitor exercise intensity during class.
• Ensure classes begin and end on time.
• Teach classes regularly and minimize substitutions.
• 20-25 hours per week of coordinating responsibilities.
