Job summary

Google's Research Compute Systems team in Mountain View, CA seeks a Product Manager to guide AI hardware-software co-design products from conception to launch. You’ll connect technical and business teams, break down complex problems into concrete steps, and drive delivery across the stack.

You’ll engage with customers, discuss tradeoffs, and shepherd products through hardware milestones to pilot and general availability, with a competitive package of base salary, bonus, equity, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
• 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
• Experience with AI/ML foundations, LLM/ML serving infrastructure, hardware accelerators, or silicon development.
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, research, and infrastructure teams to launch technical products.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product strategy for your designated focus area, prioritizing features for cross-functional alignment.
• Partner with internal product areas and external customers to translate requirements into hardware and software specifications.
• Direct the resolution of difficult, ambiguous problems through evidence-based, data-driven arguments.
• Collaborate with engineering to determine optimal implementation and schedule; drive milestones to GA.
• Utilize AI to enhance impact and identify new product opportunities across the lifecycle.
