Position Description:

Provide mentorship, guidance and support to a team of IT product managers, fostering their professional growth and performance.Set clear objectives and expectations for the team and ensure they have the necessary resources and tools to excel in their roles.Conduct regular performance evaluations and offer feedback to team members to help them continuously improve.Collaborate with product leadership team to define and shape the product strategy and feature roadmap based on business goals, user research and data. Prioritize product features and improvements, with the goal of delivering value to the end users and impact to the business.Continuously evaluate performance across the platforms, deployed features and gather feedback to inform future decisions.Ensure that the product development process adheres to best practices, agile methodologies, and quality standards to deliver products on time and within budget.Support the team in defining product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams to follow during the software development lifecycleMonitor the progress of ongoing projects, identify potential roadblocks, and take corrective actions to keep projects on track.Foster strong partnerships with engineering, design, marketing, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth product development, launch, and post-launch support.Coordinate efforts between different teams to address dependencies and maximize efficiency in the product development process.Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs, gather feedback, and communicate product plans and updates effectively.Manage expectations and provide regular updates on product development progress, milestones, and potential changes in scope.Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate product success and identify areas for improvement.Analyze product performance data and user feedback to drive data-driven decisions for product enhancements and future iterations.Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned

Education and/or Training:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Product Manager or in a similar leadership role within the IT industry.
• Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.).

Relevant Work Experience:

• 5+ years' experience in product management, including 2+ at a leadership level
• Breadth and depth of technical or functional expertise in own area of responsibility or department; may be acquiring knowledge of other related areas of departments
• Developing and implementing processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, leveraging data to inform decision-making.
• Business acumen and the ability to align product strategies with organizational goals.
• Familiarity with technology trends and the ability to anticipate market needs and opportunities.
• Experience with project management tools and product management software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies, particularly agile practices

Pay:

The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
