Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Group Product Manager for Core Infrastructure & Reliability to own the product vision and multi-year strategy for Coinbase's cloud infrastructure.

You will partner with Engineering, SRE, Security, and Finance to ensure reliability, cost-efficiency, and resilience across cloud environments and regions. You'll drive the roadmap for compute, networking, multi-region architecture, and platform reliability, defining SLOs and capacity plans while guiding build-vs-buy

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience, with 5+ years on cloud infra at scale.
• Defined multi-year infra platform strategies improving reliability or cost.
• Technical depth to discuss compute, networking, storage, Kubernetes.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives in regulated, high-trust environments.
• Ability to articulate infra strategy and cost tradeoffs to leadership.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy and roadmap for Core Infrastructure across multi-region, multi-cloud.
• Strengthen reliability programs, define SLOs, capacity, failover, incidents targets.
• Evaluate cloud infra tech like Kubernetes, service mesh, IaC; build buy decisions.
• Align infra investments with business priorities, manage cloud spend.
• Shape how product/engineering teams use infra with self-serve capabilities.
• Drive cost strategy by analyzing utilization and translating metrics to exec cases.
