Job summary

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc., including the Kratos Unmanned Aerial Systems division, is seeking a Group Manager–Mechanical/Structures to lead engineering teams across programs and drive cost-effective, compliant products for defense applications. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering, US citizenship, and 8+ years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain security clearance.
• 8+ years of technical supervisory or project leadership experience.
• Experience with engineering development processes and change management.

Responsibilities

• Supervises engineering personnel to ensure project performance.
• Ensures productivity and cost-efficiency of the assigned team.
• Coordinates with program teams to identify resources and skills required and assigns personnel to programs.
• Develops and implements improvements in procedures and standards to ensure output is high quality, on-time, and within budget.
• Maintains project metrics and ensures results meet customer requirements.
