Job summary

Draper is seeking a Group Leader in the PMOE Division, Cambridge, MA, to manage a 10–16 person team delivering high-fidelity integration tests and production hand-off data for complex systems supporting warfighter missions.

Applicants should have 7+ years in engineering leadership, a degree in engineering, and the ability to coordinate with program offices, customers, and security/compliance teams. US security clearance required.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering, design, development and management of complex systems.
• Proven ability to lead a multidisciplinary group and manage programs with DoD/space customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary test group of 10–16 members and oversee logistics.
• Define vision, roadmap, metrics; develop multi-year resource plans and budgets.
• Establish end-to-end logistics processes and ensure compliance with standards.
• Plan, schedule, and execute hardware/software integration and test campaigns.
• Develop production hand-off packages and coordinate with Operations for smooth transition.
• Foster talent development, performance reviews, and cross-disciplinary mentorship.
• Engage with program offices, customers, and external partners; support proposals and tech transfer.
