Job summary

Schaeffler Group USA Inc. is seeking a Group Leader - Plant Logistics for our Fort Mill, SC site.

The role leads the administrative logistics team, aligning intra-logistics with the plant organization and driving process improvements to ensure efficient operations. Responsibilities include coordinating warehouse activities, inventory control, and implementing investment concepts for logistics infrastructure, while ensuring safe equipment operation and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in plant logistics, intra-logistics, warehouse operations, or a comparable environment
  • Strong technical and operational understanding of logistics processes, inventory management, and process optimization
  • Very good communication skills for effective cooperation with local and international colleagues as well as external customers
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills including conflict management, coaching ability, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently; Forklift certification preferred
  • External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
