Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Group Home Supervisor (N-ICF) to supervise Direct Support staff and manage operations for 1–3 facilities providing Non-ICF services. You will work with clinical teams to implement person-centered plans and provide leadership across three shifts.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience with developmental disabilities; CPR and/or related credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
  • Strong communication with clinical and professional healthcare staff.
  • Ability to lift 20–50 lbs and CPR certification considered a plus.
  • On-call coverage and flexible scheduling required.
  • Background checks and credentialing as per program requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and coordinates activities of Direct Support employees and oversees 1–3 facilities providing Non-ICF services.
  • Monitors and provides feedback to staff across all shifts; promotes person-centered planning.
  • Conducts performance reviews and ensures staff complete trainings.
  • Provides audits for medication administration and escalates issues as needed.
  • Offers after-hours on-call coverage as part of care rotation.
  • Maintains budget awareness and adherence to guidelines.

Leads and directs the work of Direct Support Associates and is responsible for the operations of the locations assigned to.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervises and coordinates activities of Direct Support employeesDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Working closely with clinical and professional healthcare staff to maintain communication and provide feedback, standardizing procedures, and expediting the implementation of person-centered plansSpending adequate amounts of time in the residential facility monitoring and providing feedback to staff on all three shifts in interactions and relationships with people supported, maintaining harmony between employees clients while serving as a positive role modelProvides audits for medication administration.Resolving employee issues and conducting performance reviewsEnsuring that employees meet training requirements and attend required eventsMonitoring select budget items and staying within guidelinesMonitoring and providing feedback to employees during all three shifts in interactions and relationships with the people supportedProviding after-hours and on-call coverage as part of the direct care rotationMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:A high school diploma or equivalentOne year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities.Flexible schedule and availability to provide on-call coverage as neededAbility to lift between 20 and 50 lbs. and provide CPR after certificationCPR, first aid, NCI and/or MedTech certification, a plusMust be at least 18 years of agePHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 30 lbs. and occasionally pull at least 50 lbs.Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop as part of regular job duties.Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools, or controls. Required to stand and walk for extended periods.Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from floor level, which requires working on hands and knees, bending, standing, and lifting.Vision requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision.Must be able to talk and hear.Exception – Deaf and Hard of Hearing Programs: For these programs only, employees must be fluent in American Sign Language (ASL).
