Job summary

RBR Alliance, Inc. is searching for a Residential Manager in New Albany, Indiana. This full-time position involves overseeing a residential group home for adults with developmental disabilities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will provide leadership, supervise staff, manage daily operations, and ensure compliance with agency standards while promoting resident independence and dignity. A Bachelor’s degree and relevant management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Management experience preferred, especially working with adults with developmental disabilities.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive residential home environment for all residents.
• Oversee daily operations of the group home including schedules and staffing.
• Ensure the health, safety, and dignity of all residents at all times.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate Life Skills Instructors (SGL).
• Document resident progress and ensure compliance with agency standards.

Strong leadership and supervisory skills

Ability to coordinate staff, schedules, and service delivery systems

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Ability to build professional relationships with staff, residents, families, and community partners

Education

Bachelor’s degree in education, sociology, or related field
