Join us as a Group Home Manager at SARAH SENECA RESIDENTIAL SERVICES, INC

We are a not-for-profit agency dedicated to supporting individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities in residential settings. We are seeking a dedicated, responsible, and hands-on Group Home Manager to oversee operations at a CLA group home for individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Training staff on care for individuals with intellectual disabilities, requiring prior group home experience.
  2. Overseeing medical appointments and maintaining medical records.
  3. Managing staff schedules and fostering a professional, team-oriented environment.
  4. Supervising staff to ensure proper care and shift responsibilities are fulfilled.
  5. Ensuring compliance with licensing and DDS regulations, understanding of DDS regulations and individual planning process is helpful.
  6. Acting as case manager for individuals, including writing Individual Plans and Program Goals, and attending team meetings.
  7. Completing SSA, SSI, and redetermination paperwork, overseeing finances, and supervising household spending.
  8. Maintaining a clean, home-like environment.
  9. Being on-call Monday through Friday, with weekend rotation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • DDS Medication certification is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a group home setting.
  • Experience supervising staff.

Additional Information:

  • EOE and Drug-Free Workplace.
  • Urinalysis drug testing required before hire; reasonable suspicion testing may occur during employment.
  • Salary: $24.00 - $25.35 per hour.
