We are currently seeking a Group Fitness Programming & Mind-Body Manager who is a dynamic and visionary leader, responsible for driving the evolution of Oxford Athletic Club’s group fitness and mind-body experiences. This role will oversee the design, development, and launch of Oxford’s Signature Group Fitness Programs, ensuring a cohesive brand identity across all studios. The Manager will lead top-to-bottom program execution including talent acquisition, training, programming design, marketing collaboration, and equipment management.
In addition, the role retains full leadership of the Yoga, Pilates, and Barre programs, driving revenue growth through equipment-based Pilates offerings, managing payroll and scheduling, and ensuring exceptional member experiences across all mind-body disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation, branding, and execution of Oxford Athletic Club’s Signature Group Fitness Programs, transitioning from third-party formats to proprietary, member-exclusive experiences.
- Develop class formats, naming conventions, and structure in collaboration with the marketing team to align with Oxford’s premium brand standards.
- Oversee the design and implementation of studio layouts, equipment selection, and instructor training for all signature programs.
- Partner with Marketing to build a launch and promotional plan that drives awareness, participation, and member engagement.
- Recruit, onboard, and mentor top-tier instructors across group fitness, yoga, Pilates, and barre disciplines.
- Establish ongoing education and certification pathways to elevate instructor performance and maintain Oxford’s best-in-class standards.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence within the group fitness and mind-body teams.
- Manage payroll, class schedules, and instructor coverage to ensure operational efficiency and financial and participation performance for mind body and new OAC signature classes.
- Drive revenue growth in equipment-based Pilates programming through exceptional service, retention initiatives, and instructor utilization.
- Analyze class performance, attendance, and profitability metrics to guide programming decisions and continuous improvement.
- Serve as the face of Oxford’s group fitness and mind-body programs, building relationships with members, attending special events, and representing the club’s wellness philosophy.
- Participate in the Manager-on-Duty (MOD) rotation, ensuring excellence in overall member experience and club presentation.
- Collaborate with club leadership and cross-functional teams to support community-building initiatives and promote Oxford’s premium wellness culture.

Qualifications
- Certified Group Fitness Instructor (ACE, AFAA, NASM, ACSM, or equivalent).
- Proven track record in program development, team leadership, and revenue generation.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and club events.
Required Education and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in group fitness management, programming, or studio operations.
- Certified Group Fitness Instructor (ACE, AFAA, NASM, ACSM, or equivalent).
- Specialized certifications in Yoga, Pilates, or Barre
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field preferred.
- One year customer service
