Job summary

VASA Fitness is seeking a Group Fitness Team Lead to oversee the club's group fitness program. You will manage class schedules, develop instructors, and ensure programming is high-energy, safe, and inclusive for all fitness levels.

This is a growth-focused role with opportunities to build a strong instructor team and boost class attendance. You don't need prior leadership experience if you have a nationally accredited certification; training will be provided and you'll collaborate with the GM to

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience teaching group fitness or boutique classes.
• Nationally accredited Group Fitness Certification required.
• Current CPR/AED certification required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Les Mills or other structured fitness formats is a plus.
• Required to work 8-10 hours per week in a customer facing Front Desk role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Group Fitness program, manage class schedules, and develop instructors.
• Ensure programming is high-energy, safe, and inclusive for all fitness levels.
• Grow class attendance and maximize group fitness usage.
• Recruit and coach instructors; provide feedback and evaluations.
• Collaborate with Team Leads and General Manager to elevate member experience.
• Ensure rooms and equipment are clean, safe, and fully operational.
• Execute playbooks, marketing initiatives, and programming standards.
