Job summary

VASA Fitness in Colorado Springs is seeking a Group Fitness Team Lead to oversee the group fitness program, develop instructors, and ensure high-energy, inclusive classes. You will manage schedules, coach instructors, and collaborate with the General Manager to grow attendance and programming quality.

The role requires a nationally accredited certification and CPR/AED, with a focus on leadership, organization, and member experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience teaching group fitness, small group training, or boutique classes.
• Nationally accredited Group Fitness Certification is required.
• Current CPR/AED certification is required.
• Experience leading, coaching, or performing in front of groups.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Grow class attendance and overall Group Fitness engagement by analyzing class counts and usage trends.
• Build and maintain class schedules that are competitive and convenient for members.
• Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team of Group Fitness Instructors.
• Coach instructors through feedback, practice sessions, and in-class evaluations.
• Collaborate with other Team Leads to align schedules and support club performance.
• Ensure rooms and equipment are clean, safe, and fully operational.
