Job summary

Red Rocks Community College in Lakewood, CO is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor (Work-Study) for the RRCC Student Recreation Center. The role requires leading group fitness sessions, maintaining equipment, and supporting a safe exercise environment during SRC hours.

Eligible RRCC students must hold a work-study award, enroll at least half-time, and possess a recognized fitness certification (or be willing to obtain required CPR/First Aid within 30 days).

Qualifications

• Must be a RRCC student with a valid work-study award for the semester.
• Must be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours) and maintain progress.
• Must hold a current, nationally recognized group fitness cert or specialty cert.
• Must be First Aid/CPR/AED certified or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective group fitness instruction to classes with diverse fitness levels.
• Ensure fitness equipment for classes is clean, sanitized, and safe.
• Teach 1–2 classes per week per semester and support SRC operations.
