Job summary

AdventHealth in Celebration, FL is seeking a PRN Group Fitness Instructor to lead classes and ensure safety during sessions. Responsibilities include preparing lessons, greeting members with empathy, and reporting incidents to the Group Fitness Manager.

Requires BLS CPR and a Group Fitness Instructor certification or equivalent. Position is PRN/As needed, typically once a week or more, with pay range $17.28–$27.65 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Group Fitness Instructor certification or equivalent (GFI, AFAA, ACE-GFI, etc.) required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers quality fitness classes according to policies.
• Supervises participants for safety during all class phases and corrects as needed.
• Greets members and staff with exemplary service and empathy.
• Reports all incidences or injuries using proper forms and submits to Group Fitness Manager.
• Ensures appropriate coverage of classes during illness, injury or vacation.

Job Description:
