Job summary

AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is seeking a qualified Personal Trainer to tailor and adjust fitness programs, perform assessments, and guide clients toward healthier lifestyles within a supportive team.

The requirements include a Bachelor's in Exercise Science or related field, 3+ years in the field, CPR/BLS, and Personal Trainer Certification. This PRN role offers the opportunity to empower clients while maintaining high standards of safety and service at our Wesley Chapel facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a related field.
• CPR/BLS certification required and First Aid CPR AED.
• Personal Trainer Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Adjusts fitness programs based on clients' progress and feedback.
• Maintains client workout records and progress.
• Markets training services to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
• Conducts fitness assessments and tracks progress.
• Ensures a clean and safe workout environment.
• Educates clients on nutrition and lifestyle to complement routines.
• Collaborates with health professionals to optimize client outcomes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Adjusts fitness programs as needed based on clients' progress and feedback.
• Maintains accurate records of clients' workouts and progress.
• Stays updated on the latest fitness trends and techniques through continuous education.
• Collaborates with other health and wellness professionals to optimize client outcomes.
• Ensures a clean and safe workout environment by maintaining equipment and facilities.
• Markets personal training services to attract new clients and retain existing ones. Designs personalized fitness programs tailored to clients' individual goals and needs.
• Conducts fitness assessments to evaluate clients' physical condition and track progress.
• Demonstrates and instructs clients on proper exercise techniques and equipment usage.
• Monitors clients during workouts to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Provides motivation and support to help clients achieve their fitness goals.
• Educates clients on proper nutrition and lifestyle habits to complement their fitness routines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Field Of Study

• Degree in Exercise Science or related field.

Work Experience

• 3+ experience in related field. [Required]
• Experience working with the Exercise is Medicine initiative and philosophy is preferred. [Preferred]

Licenses And Certifications

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] AND
• Personal Trainer Certification (PTC) [Required]
