The ideal candidate has at least two years of group exercise experience, current CPR/AED, and a recognized group fitness certification. Responsibilities include preparing class content, educating participants, and promoting wellness initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of group exercise instruction experience (preferred).
• Current CPR/AED certification required.
• Current nationally recognized group fitness certification required (ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NASM, ISSA, Les Mills, or equivalent).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, engaging group exercise classes according to formats and participant needs.
• Prepare and deliver class content that promotes safety and enjoyment.
• Educate participants on proper techniques and equipment usage.
• Foster a positive, welcoming environment for members and guests.
• Monitor participants and provide modifications as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of current exercise guidelines and trends.
• Ensure studios and equipment are clean and safe before/after classes.
• Promote programming, wellness initiatives, and events.
• Report participant concerns or safety issues to leadership.
