Job summary

The Bay Club Company in Bothell, WA is hiring a Group Exercise Instructor to deliver creative, engaging classes while prioritizing safety and exceptional member service. You’ll lead a variety of formats, stay current with trends, and support a welcoming club culture.

Requirements include current Group Exercise certification (ACE/AFAA/ACSM or equivalent), CPR/AED, 2+ years of teaching, and strong sales/customer service skills. Weekend/evening availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Group Exercise certification with ACE, AFAA, ACSM, or equivalent
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Minimum two years of group exercise or fitness teaching experience
• Professional, friendly manner and excellent customer service abilities
• Sales and Marketing knowledge for promoting and selling services
• Problem anticipation and deductive reasoning to solve problems they may face
• Oral comprehension and expression; ability to communicate clearly
• Computer skills to maintain records and use standard software

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide variety of classes to a discerning fitness population
• Ensure classes are high quality, safe, and challenging
• Present innovative, entertaining and fun classes
• Remain open and attentive to changing fitness needs of members
• Deliver an exceptional experience to members, guests and Associates
• Communicate timely and follow up as appropriate
• Active participation in events, programs, meetings and training
• Represent the club professionally in image, dress and communication
