Gold’s Gym of the Carolinas and Florida is seeking a Group Exercise Instructor to lead classes, educate members on safe technique, and tailor workouts to individual fitness levels. You will foster a motivating, inclusive environment and ensure smooth class flow from setup to wrap-up.

The role requires fitness certifications, at least six months of teaching experience, and the ability to operate audio equipment. Join a network focused on growth and member wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Group fitness certification by ACE/AFAA/ACSM or equivalents.
• At least six months teaching in a group exercise format.
• Knowledge of safe exercise technique and group exercise principles.
• Knowledge of basic physiology and body mechanics.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot audio equipment.
• Instructors with specialized skills must provide verifiable proof of education.

Responsabilités

• Lead group exercise classes in a prearranged format.
• Interact with participants and assess fitness levels privately.
• Ensure clear verbal instructions and appropriate music tempo.
• Monitor form and offer variations for all fitness levels.
• Create a motivational and fun environment for participants.
• Prepare for class start/end, and maintain equipment.
