Gold's Gym is seeking a Group Exercise Instructor to lead classes in a group setting, ensuring safety and promoting overall fitness. You will educate members on exercise formats, assist with equipment setup, and foster an engaging, motivating environment.

Responsibilities include pre-class prep, during-class instruction with variations for all fitness levels, and post-class wrap-up. A group fitness certification and CPR are required, with a focus on reliable schedules and professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Six months teaching in group exercise format.
• Knowledge of safe exercise technique and group exercise principles.
• Knowledge of basic physiology and body mechanics.
• Current CPR certification and basic first aid training.

Responsibilities

• Arrive 10–15 minutes early to engage with members and orient new participants.
• Provide clear instructions, adjust intensity, and ensure safe form.
• Create a motivational and fun class atmosphere.
• Assist with equipment checks and music preparation.
• After class, gather feedback and reset room for next session.
